Adoption and Use of ICT in Indian Tourism: Intervention for the top tourist destination of India

Since Internet was available in India in 1995, Agra is being the top tourist destination needs support to give the best experience to all the tourists both domestic and inbound(foreign). With the help of 5ICT interventions in the Tourist Life Cycle, completed information can be given to the tourists at the pre trip, during trip as well as post trip phases. The authors explain that post trip, using ICT, a tourist can be helped to chrish his memories of the trip to Taj and apprised of the latest developments as well as tourism promotion schemes which are currently running. They say that ICT interventions will bring in transparentcy in the system, make the system more swift and customer centric and will help in creating a positive image about AGRA as one of the top tourist destination of the world.
